These balls were made to commemorate fifty years of service by the Malvern Dads to the Yarra Valley campus of the Caufield Grammar. The Manna Gum used is sourced from the campus and the five progressively increasing balls tell the growth and momentum over five decades.

I made these balls first, later the arm and even later decided to put the two together on the base. The result, kind of creepy but kind of compelling.
